Here is some pictures of the basement. It is coming together. I didn't get a final picture yet, with all the furniture in place. I will I promise. We still have to save up for some more flooring on the other side near the washer and dryer...btw the washer still isn't fixed...We plan on putting down vinyl, but it looks like wood. It comes in strips. Hopefully it will look good when we get it done. Steve is going to do that part himself. I can't wait to be finished. Now we have to find some more space in the garage for some of our "stuff" that just needs to be out of the basement. 
That's looking great! I really wish I had a basement! I'm so sorry you still don't have a washing machine... that is like torture upon torture for a poor mom with kids in the summertime. If your kids are anything like mine, I'm constantly washing muddy or wet clothes because they refuse to stay away from those two things. Water and dirt together can be a mom's worst nightmare when mixed with no washing machine! I really feel for you!
ReplyDeleteLOL! You're putting carpet down as we've been ripping it out and getting rid of it. The room is definitely coming together for you though and I hope the washer gets repaired soon.
