It just came up to the chicken run we just completed. I guess we put it in the right place.
neighbors chicken run flooded.
Headed over the road.
Amazing! Luckily in a few hours it had gone down. Now it is just really wet as we continue to get rain each day. The lawn is loving it!
I think it is suppose to keep raining until Saturday. It is gloomy, wet and cool. Lovely weather! Hopefully it will let up soon so we can plant the garden.
Wow. This weather has been crazy. Enough, already.
ReplyDeleteWe are in Northern Utah, our garden is in pots. We too hope to get it planetd! Thx for the photos. virginia

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and I enjoy meeting other stay at home moms. I'm also your newest follower. wow, that's a lot of water! Thankful there was no devastation that went along with it! Have a great evening!

Like 'Homemade', we are in Utah......only a lot more South. But, we have been getting a lot of storms too. We are all hoping for warmer weather so that the crops and gardens will grow.
ReplyDeleteI hope that the flash flooding stay nearer to the chicken coops and away from homes.
Hope that the rest of your week is good. Stay safe.
Phew! Glad you were safe, that was close. It has been many years since I have lived in the midwest- so don't usually see too many floods anymore.
