Yummy Salsa!
Salsa time is here. I was afraid we wouldn't have enough tomatoes left to make some. I'm glad we at least got a few done. We made 17 pints. I wish we had more. For all of you out there that might mistakenly think I am some kind of super woman...Steve makes it all happen...I am the "get the pot ready...find enough jars...help with the lids..." gal.

ReplyDeleteOk, Im lovin' your new fall look! Totally Fab!!!! That is some tasty looking salsa. I only got 12 pints, didnt put out many plants. I have a garden eating/digging dog, lucky me. I cheated, I used the Mrs. Wages salsa seasoning packets to make mine. Just havent found a good recipe.My apple butter was a low turnout too, only got 9 pints, and carpal tunnel! LOL! Dont even want to look at another apple or paring knife!
ReplyDeleteOh so yummy! My mom always canned growing up but I am yet to try it... though this weekend I might try pears, I still have to buy everything I need though, so it is dampening my motivation a bit. :)
