Maggie's Front Tooth

Here is Maggie. She lost her first front tooth. She is happy she can still whistle. She was so excited about it she ran downstairs to show Aunt Margie her tooth that she was going to leave for the toothfairy that night. She dropped it and the dog ate it up in one gulp. Luckily Grandma Raubacher knows the tooth fairy's phone number. She called and explained what happened to the tooth fairy. So she knew to come to our house anyway.

Under the Sea

Tonight we went to the boys play at school. I will try and down load some truely lame pictures tomorrow. It was very cute and they all worked so hard. It was an hour long! It wrapped up a huge unit on Salt water and fresh water eco systems. Jacob had a speaking part and Douglas helped carry the bus. I wanted to get a picture of him in "the bus" but he held it where you couldn't see his face...instead of his head being in the bus "window". Oh well.

Lucy!

Here is Lucy! She is an Aussie/Lab mix. Cute as a button and about a year old. She is still very much a puppy. We are having fun training her and helping her learn good manners. It has also helped the kids sit at the table straight and always eat at the table instead of walking around. Because she follows food anywhere. So either way I win...someone will have better manners ...the dog or the kids. :)

These are pictures of Dougie's Birthday! 9 already!

Here is Maggie looking cute. She wanted to grow her bangs out. I really liked it in a barette. But alas she didn't...so I cut her bangs again. She looks so much like Aunt Bobbie!
Here is the basement...We are working on tidying up a bit. We got some cheap carpets from a local store and this is the play house cousin Shannon built out of cardboard. The kids like going down there now to play and scream. We want to hang some "curtains" over the shelves...probably shower plastic curtains so they won't get ruined if they do get wet. That will make it look alot less cluttered. Next weekend Steve is going to hang the punching bag that we got the kids for Christmas. Then the older boys will have something to do!

Here is Douglas on derby night at church. His car came in third. He was happy about that!

Hi everyone. I am getting frustrated because I can't figure out where my pictures of Douglas and his derby went in my computer. Hopefully...I will "find" them. They are in there somewhere!

Here are some pictures of the tree that fell on the house. It hit the porch pretty hard! It shook the whole house and woke the house up...except Jacob and Maggie who sleep very soundly.

Here is the kitchen windows painted and the chandelier in the dining room put up! Now the kitchen just needs curtains.

Christmas morning pictures. We had a great Christmas and missed everyone very much. The kids had fun opening their gifts. Steve and I didn't have many surprises under the tree. We both got a kitchen for Christmas. The kids did get us some gifts from the "store" they had set up at the school. So that was fun seeing what they bought us!

Here is our Gingerbread house. All the children helped. It was quite an undertaking! As you can see if you look closely...before I could even take a picture of the house....one gum drop is missing on the front! Gee wonder who ate it?
You can see from picture #2! As the week went on more and more candy just disappeared! Amazing that no one ate any though. :)
Here are the kids making snowmen. This all happened before Christmas but just getting around to getting things posted. We ended up making a whole family of snowmen all over the yard. Sadly with the warm weather they all melted and went away. We had a green Christmas and now we only have a dusting of snow.

See you later!
