Here is the kitchen windows painted and the chandelier in the dining room put up! Now the kitchen just needs curtains.

Christmas morning pictures. We had a great Christmas and missed everyone very much. The kids had fun opening their gifts. Steve and I didn't have many surprises under the tree. We both got a kitchen for Christmas. The kids did get us some gifts from the "store" they had set up at the school. So that was fun seeing what they bought us!

Here is our Gingerbread house. All the children helped. It was quite an undertaking! As you can see if you look closely...before I could even take a picture of the house....one gum drop is missing on the front! Gee wonder who ate it?
You can see from picture #2! As the week went on more and more candy just disappeared! Amazing that no one ate any though. :)

Here are the kids making snowmen. This all happened before Christmas but just getting around to getting things posted. We ended up making a whole family of snowmen all over the yard. Sadly with the warm weather they all melted and went away. We had a green Christmas and now we only have a dusting of snow.

Merry Christmas. Here are some updates to the house. Door covering washer and dryer in the bathroom. Handle on the cabinet doors. Running water in the sink! Yippee! Hopefully tomorrow we will get a DISHWASHER!

Here is Maggie in her new glasses. They are purple although it is hard to see in the picture. The eye doctor said her eyes have improved since last year and that some day she might not need glasses. He said probably around age 12. She also only needs to wear them at school or when she is doing up close work.

Here is Jacob in his new glasses! He can see much better now. He was only seeing 20/40 with his old glasses on...He says he can see things much better now!

Here is our Christmas tree. Jacob took the picture. You can't really see the lights and it looks a bit bare...still haven't found all the Christmas decorations.

Here is Maggie working hard pressing apples for apple cider. She worked very hard. Jacob lasted a while and Douglas was done after he took one turn on the wheel. Curtis pressed some apples too but was more interested in drawing on the sidewalk with chalk. Although Uncle Mike did most of the work we all enjoyed the cider. Yum!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry it has been so long since the last post. Sorry to say the kitchen hasn't changed much since the pictures were taken. We are hoping the counter tops come in around Thanksgiving. Maggie's birthday is tomorrow and she will be 6 years old. She is very excited about her birthday and I will have to make a cake for tomorrow. Hopefully I will get some pictures and post them. This is the window facing the back of the house. The window still needs trimming and obviously the countertops aren't in yet. But it is starting to look like a kitchen. The next pictures are other views.

All the pictures from Halloween came out dark and poor. Sorry! We had fun going to the church Halloween party. The kids played games and had lots of fun...then we got to go trick or treating from door to door in the church. We have tons of candy! The kids were groggy today since we have school and we didn't get "settled" until about 10:00pm last night. Hopefully tonight will be an early night.
